Out of respect for the health and safety of our community, and following CDC guidelines of halting gatherings of 10 or more, Northern Oklahoma College has made the decision to postpone this year’s Annual Gala previously scheduled on April 26, 2020, and is considering options for rescheduling.

NOC President Cheryl Evans commented, “We have been blessed with such amazing talent over the past twenty-five years and look forward to the day when music can be shared in large public gatherings again.”

Ticket sales set to begin on March 31 have been suspended. Future announcements will be made as soon as information becomes available.

Conductor Gerald Steichen stated “Of course, I am disappointed to not be making music with you on April 26th, but hopefully we will come to understand this virus more clearly, identify more precautions – and be able to move forward with our lives safely, and in good time, enrich the lives of North Central Oklahoma with our art and passion.”

The College is closed for an extended Spring Break, March 14- March 29 to slow the spread on COVID-19. NOC will continue to communicate regularly on the evolving widespread disease over the coming weeks.
