For the week of December 20, no PCR tests for COVID-19 will be conducted at the Kay County Health Department. This is due to the holiday schedule with the Public Health Lab. PCR tests will resume on December 27.
The Kay County Health Department also says that as students go on their holiday break, consider vaccinating your child against COVID-19. According to the CDC, the Pfizer vaccine for pediatrics is 90% effective preventing COVID-19 in children ages 5 through 11 years.
