No new COVID-19 cases for Oklahoma on Tuesday, 87 deaths documented

The Oklahoma State Department of Health is reporting no new COVID-19 cases for Tuesday. Oklahoma has seen 432,793 COVID-19 cases overall as 11,401 cases are active. The number of active cases is 464 less than Monday.

OSDH documented 87 new deaths on Tuesday as the state’s death toll is at 4,788. One death being for Kay County individual from Braman. Other deaths reported for local counties include three for Logan and one each for Pawnee, Payne and Washington. The CDC’s provisional death toll is at 7,568.

Kay County has seen an overall total of 5,134 COVID-19 cases, 84 deaths and 4,913 recoveries. Data for local communities is posted below:

Oklahoma saw 377 new recoveries for Tuesday, putting the state’s recovery total to 416,604. In order for a recovery to count, the recovered patient must not be deceased or hospitalized and it has been 14 days since their report. See complete data at coronavirus.health.ok.gov.

As of Tuesday, there have been 1,483,295 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine administered in Oklahoma and that there are 434,428 completed series. The number of prime doses given is 800,168.
