Ambulance from Ponca City and Newkirk, along with Kay County deputies and the Kildare Fire Department, were dispatched to Coon Creek Cove on Kaw Lake at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday evening for a report of a boat that sank.
Kildare Volunteer Fire Department arrived on scene at 6:36 p.m. and advised that it was a paddle boat that went down, everyone was out of the water and there were no injuries.
