Nine people were involved in a two-vehicle accident that occurred just after 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at the intersection of Kildare Road and Pecan Road in Kildare.
One person was airlifted to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas, and four were sent to Alliance Health in Ponca City.
A total of five ambulance crews responded to the scene. Also on scene were the Kay County deputies, Kildare first responders and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
