The Oklahoma State Department of Health is reporting 2,737 COVID-19 cases for Tuesday, Nov. 24. Oklahoma’s seen 180,610 COVID-19 cases overall, and 33,260 cases are active.
15 additional virus-related deaths were also reported to put Oklahoma’s death toll to 1,664. Two of the new deaths were females from Kay and Grant counties in the 65 or older group. Another death being two Washington County males in the 65 or older age group.
Kay County also saw 14 new positive COVID-19 cases, putting the county at 1,619 COVID-19 cases, 23 deaths and 1,273 recoveries. As for the 323 active cases for Kay County, there are 241 for Ponca City, 43 for Blackwell, 29 for Newkirk, 18 for Tonkawa and three each for Braman and Kaw City. As for new cases in local counties, there are 52 for Payne, 49 for Garfield, 26 for Noble, 23 for Logan, 18 for Washington, 14 for Osage, four for Pawnee and two for Grant. Click here for complete data on all 77 Oklahoma counties.

OSDH is also reporting 3,305 new recoveries for Tuesday, putting the statewide recovery total to 145,686. In order for a recovery to count, the recovered patient must not be deceased or hospitalized and it has been 14 days since their report.
Latest information from health officials as of Tuesday shows that 1,830,999 test results in Oklahoma have returned negative. There have been 11,445 total hospitalizations and 1,566 individuals with COVID-19 cases were currently hospitalized.
