There is a new COVID-19 related scam that the public should be aware of.
Scammers are sending out what appears to be an urgent text telling people about possible exposure to someone with COVID-19. The rest of the message advises victims to self-quarantine and click a link inside the text for more information.
DO NOT fall for this scam, or click on any link that you get in a text message.
