SEMINOLE, Oklahoma — The Northern Oklahoma College Mavs dropped two conference games to 11th ranked Seminole Saturday afternoon.
The Mavs (18-14) are now 8-8 in conference play while Seminole (23-3) improved to 12-2 in conference.
In Game 1, the Mavs rallied from a 5-2 deficit scoring three runs in the sixth but Seminole then answered with the go-ahead run in the sixth winning 6-5.
Meagen Bellar’s three run homer tied the game at 5-5 in the sixth for the Mavs.
Jasmine Warriner had three hits while Morgan Fowble added two hits and a run batted in for NOC.
Lynsey Ailey was the starter allowing five earned runs in five innings. Brandi Whittle pitched the sixth for the Mavs.
In Game 2, Warriner homered and Ailey had two hits in an 18-2 loss.
Molly Myers, Shay Cushenbery, Sidney Webb and Bellar all worked in the circle for the Mavs.
NOC hosts Murray State on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
