Movie go-ers in Kay County might be upset to know that a popular movie theatre in Kay County is now closed.
KFOR-TV in Oklahoma City reported last Monday that the AMC Theatre in Ponca City has closed its doors for good. Six months ago, AMC officials warned that the coronavirus pandemic may cause them to take drastic measures in order to survive. It’s unclear at this point as to how many more theatres in Oklahoma will close.
AMC operates 1,000 theatres globally.
