Local city offices in Kay County announced closures on Tuesday due to the impact of active COVID-19 cases.

TONKAWA

Tonkawa City Office lobby will be closed to walk in customers until further notice. Please use the drive-thru window for customer service. We have made this decision due to the increase in active COVID cases.

BLACKWELL

Blackwell City Hall will be closed until January 17th, 2022. For any assistance you can call the Utility Office at 363-7200 or Administrative Office at 363-7250.

The payment options we have available are the Utility drop box, the Utility phone pay 866-330-9322 or you can log on and pay through the website at cityofblackwell.com.

NEWKIRK

As a precaution, due to recent surges in COVID infections, all City offices will be closed to the public for the rest of this week. Staff will still be on-site to assist customers. Please call 362-2117 during business hours for assistance.

The Senior Center will still serve meals on Wednesday and Friday this week thru drive-thru only.

The library will still take returns and provide other assistance through the alley door.

The police and fire stations will also be closed to the public, but still in full operation. Please call 362-3606 for after hours assistance.

Monday, December 17th, City office will be closed in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. All City offices will open back up to the public on Tuesday, January 18th.
