The Oklahoma State Department of Health documented 682 new COVID-19 cases for Tuesday, October 5.
According to the latest situation report, Oklahoma’s seen 619,738 COVID-19 cases since early 2020 as10,475 cases are active. The new cases 7 day average is 1,336 and the CDC provisional death count is 10,479.
According to the latest data from Wednesday, September 29, Kay County has seen an overall total of 6,792 COVID-19 cases, 146 deaths and 6,477 recoveries. Kay County has 169 active COVID-19 cases.
If you’re needing to get tested for COVID-19, the Kay County Health Department has COVID-19 testing available by appointment only at the Ponca City clinic on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Make an appointment by calling 580-762-1641. COVID-19 testing is NOT available at the Blackwell clinic.
