As of 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 18, the number of COVID-19 cases in Oklahoma is at 2,570.
Locally, Kay County remains with 46 COVID-19 cases, 33 of those have recovered. 41 of those cases have been in Ponca City. As for overall cases for surrounding counties, Osage has 64 cases reported with 30 recovered, Pawnee with 28 cases with 18 recovered, Payne County with 37 cases and 25 recovered, Garfield with 10 cases and half of them recovered, Logan with 9 cases where all but two have recovered, Noble County with 6 cases and all but one recovered and the 2 cases for Grant County have each recovered.
Three new deaths from the virus in Oklahoma were documented Saturday, bringing the total to 139:
- One in Oklahoma County, a male in the 36-49 age group.
- One in Pottawatomie County, a female in the 65 and older age group.
- One in Wagoner County, a female in the 50-64 age group.
The Oklahoma State Department of Health reports that there are 32,966 total cumulative negative specimens, 554 total hospitalizations. However, officials said 307 of those people are currently hospitalized.
