The Kay County Master Gardeners are looking for new members to join their ranks. A total of 10 extension classes will take place on Wednesdays from Aug. 26-Nov. 18.
Classes will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Pioneer Technology Center in room D-101. The cost is $100 per student.
Oklahoma Master Gardeners have become a vital part of Oklahoma State University Extension’s ability to provide consumers with up-to-date, research-based information. Master Gardening has also become a popular volunteer activity that gives its participants a sense of community spirit, accomplishment, and intellectual stimulation.
They are limiting enrollment to 10 trainees this year, due to the room size.
Those interested should contact the Kay County OSU Extension office and talk to Agriculture Educator Shannon Mallory at 580-362-3194, or via E-mail [email protected]
