The Kay County Health Department at 433 Fairview Ave. in Ponca City is continuing to provide curbside COVID-19 testing Monday-Friday by appointment only while supplies are available.
The health department encourages those witha fever of 100.4 or higher, a cough, shortness of breath or have been in direct contact with an individual that’s tested positive for COVID-19 should contact the health department at 580-762-1641 to reserve an appointment. Testing is free and you don’t need insurance. Instructions will be provided upon arrival at the appointment, and you must remain in your vehicle at all times.
A physician’s order is not needed in order to be tested through the health department’s curbside testing option. However, the health department encourages established patients seeking testing to contact their primary care provider.
