A personal injury collision occurred at 4:22 p.m. Thursday along the the Cimarron Turnpike westbound at mile marker 3.8, approximately 3.5 miles south and 4 miles west of Red Rock in Noble County.
Derrick Marcel Jamon Scaife, 39, of Hutchinson, Ks. was driving a 2015 Freightliner westbound on the Cimarron Turnpike and attempted to change lanes. The vehicle departed the roadway to the right coming to a stop in a creek. Scaife was transported by Perry EMS to Stillwater Medical in Perry before being sent by AirEvac to OU Medical in Oklahoma City. Scaife was admitted in fair condition with head and arm injuries.
The accident was investigated by Trooper Warlick #499 of the Cimarron Turnpike Detachment of Troop K. Assisted by Trooper Kevin Duncan #657, Perry Fire Department, Perry EMS, Noble County Sheriff Department, and AirEvac.
