Maverick sophomore Hayden Priest hit three home runs Monday leading the 15th ranked NOC Mavs to a sweep of Oklahoma Christian JV.
The Mavs rallied for a 16-6 win in the first game and then routed the Eagles in a five-inning run rule 17-2.
In Game 1, the Mavs trailed 6-4 until NOC scored seven runs in the sixth to earn an 11-6 win.
Barrett Rose and Levi Haueter had three hits each, Rose, Priest, and Josh Bumgarner had two runs batted in each.
Luke Livian earned the win out of the Mavs’ bullpen.
Priest dominated Game 2 with four hits including two three run home runs and seven runs batted in. Levi Haueter added three hits and two runs scored.
Geo Blackshaw and Holden Bartosovsky had two hits each.
The Mavs scored in every inning against the Eagles.
Josh Major earned the win tossing three innings of two hit baseball.
NOC (22-10) hosts Rich Mountain (AR) on Thursday at 1 p.m.
