On Wednesday, Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt made the decision to extend the Safer at Home order for the state until May 6 for those age 65 and older and those that have compromised immune systems.

Stitt said that he is looking for ways to re-open non-essential businesses that are currently closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but we must continue to be responsible.

Stitt also is lifting his ban on elective surgeries and can resume as of April 24.
