Former PCPS Tennis Player Selected for State All Decade Team

Oklahoma City, OK – December 11, 2019 – A committee of former and current high school tennis coaches,
former players, and tennis professionals, representing a state geographical and chronological balance, have
selected the All Decade Tennis Teams for the 2010 Decade. The committee’s selections represent their
opinion of the best players from the decade. Criteria for selection was (1) player must have participated in an
OSSAA sanctioned High School State Tournament, (2) year of graduation had to be in the 2010 decade, and
(3) evaluation was done on player’s high school play only. Players are listed alphabetically. To players
selected – our congratulations. To those players deserving, but omitted – our apologies. To all the participants
through the decade – our appreciation.

Among those making the list for the boys team was former Po-Hi Tennis Star Daniel Langston. Langston attended Po-Hi from 2013-2016. According to newsok.com, Langston capped a 32-0 season in 2015 with a win in the Class 6A No. 1 single title in the boys high school state tennis championships in Oklahoma City. Langston then signed on as a 4-star recruit to play tennis at Valparaiso.
