The body of a 78-year-old man was found deceased Friday in the alley in the 600 block of north First Street in Blackwell.
According to police, the subject was a dementia patient that called police about the loud noises.
Officers checked the area, as well as the subject, and didn’t find anything.
The male was later found deceased in the alley.
Police believe that the loud noise the subject heard might’ve been caused by a thunderstorm at the time and went outside to look around.
The medical examiner responded to the scene and will determine the cause of death.
