Creekstone Farms employee tests positive for COVID-19; Company continues to take precautionary measures

KWCH-TV in Wichita, Ks. is reporting that an employee at Creekstone Farms Premium Beef, a beef processing plant in Ark City, has tested positive for COVID-19.

Creekstone’s general manager says the employee who tested positive for the virus is in self isolation, as their other employees who were in direct contact with the infected worker. According to the general manager, the case confirmed this week is Creekstone’s first and only case so far. The General Manager says they are taking necessary precautions for the safety of employees.

Creekstone hires around 1,100 people locally from Kansas and Oklahoma.
