The Ponca City News is reporting that the Powerhouse of Faith Christian Center at 114 N. Oak St. in Ponca City is currently holding a coat drive and donations are being accepted at any time throughout the year.
Items such as coats, gloves, hats, clothes and toys will be accepted at any time.
Bishop Johnny Thompson and Pastor Gail Thompson, with the assistance of Cynthia Lawson, have organized this coat drive to help those in need in the community.
To make a donation, please contact Cynthia Lawson at 580-761-5411 and she’ll set up a time to meet with those that wish to donate during this trying time and cold weather.
The dates for pickup of items for those who are in need of coats and/or clothing etc. has been set for Saturday, January 30 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. and on Saturday, February 12 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
