The Grant County Sheriff’s Office was requested to work a criminal investigation near Pond Creek. During the investigation, it was determined a child sexual offense may have occurred. After a thorough investigation, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office along with Oklahoma City Police Department and the United States Marshall Service were able to identify and locate Jesus Vazquez.
A felony warrant was issued for Jesus for the following charges: 1 count of Rape in the 2nd degree, 1 count of lewd acts with a child under the age of 16, and 1 count of distribution of a controlled dangerous substance.
On July 22, 2020, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, assisted by the Oklahoma City Police Department and the United States Marshal Service, located and apprehended Jesus for the felony warrant.
