The following is from the Arkansas City Public Schools District.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this quickly-changing situation together. We continue to receive guidance from local/state health department officials regarding COVID-19 and today, the USD 470 leadership team met to discuss ways in which the district can help protect our students, staff, and community.
After much consideration, school is canceled for March 16-20, 2020. This closure affects ALL school-related activities including: after school program, athletic/activity practices, competitions, performances, and other events.
