The Oklahoma State Department of Health is reporting 663 new positive COVID-19 cases on Monday, Oct. 26. Oklahoma’s seen an overall total of 117,399 COVID-19 cases as 15,791 are active.
Two virus-related deaths were reported Monday to put Oklahoma’s death toll to 1,251. The two were for men from Oklahoma and Okfuskee counties in the 65 or older age group.
No new cases were reported for Kay County where the overall amount of cases actually dropped from 868 to 866. Kay County has also seen 16 deaths and 761 recoveries.
For new cases in local counties, there are 17 for Garfield, 14 for Washington, 13 for Payne and six for Logan.

OSDH is also reporting 816 new recoveries for Monday, putting Oklahoma’s recovery total to 100,357. In order for a recovery to count, the recovered patient must not be deceased or hospitalized and it has been 14 days since their report.
Officials report that as of Friday, there have been 1,417,024 total negative specimen, 8,408 total hospitalizations and 924 patients are currently hospitalized.
