The Oklahoma State Department of Health reported 42 new COVID-19 cases and two new deaths for Wednesday. The health department said that 113 is Wednesday’s 7-day rolling average for new cases.
The CDC says that Oklahoma’s seen 453,284 COVID-19 cases and 8,473 deaths overall. OSDH says there have been 26,489 hospitalizations.
Out of the 1,471 active COVID-19 cases, Kay County has only seven active cases. Kay County has seen 5,335 COVID-19 cases, 128 deaths and 5,200 recoveries.

OSDH also reports that as of Wednesday, there have been 2,960,989 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine administered. This includes 1,646,316 first doses given and 1,336,335 Oklahomans are fully vaccinated.
