The Oklahoma State Department of Health is reporting 2,880 new COVID-19 cases over the weekend. Oklahoma’s now seen an overall total of 116,736 COVID-19 cases as 15,946 cases are active.
Four virus-related deaths were reported Sunday, along with 11 for Saturday, to put Oklahoma’s death toll to 1,249. Two deaths have been reported for Garfield County.
Kay County has seen 24 new COVID-19 cases over the weekend, putting the county at 868 cases, 16 deaths and 757 recoveries.
For new cases in local counties, there are 59 for Garfield, 31 for Logan, 27 for Washington, 19 for Payne, 12 for Osage, 11 for Grant, four for Pawnee and two for Noble.

OSDH is reporting 841 new recoveries since Friday, putting the statewide recovery total to 99,541. In order for a recovery to count, the recovered patient must not be deceased or hospitalized and it has been 14 days since their report.
Officials report that as of Wednesday, there have been 1,397,696 total negative specimen, 8,265 total hospitalizations and 956 patients are currently hospitalized.
