The number of COVID-19 cases in Oklahoma took a slight jump on Monday, May 11, as the Oklahoma State Department of Health documented 24 positive cases, bringing the state’s total to 4,613.
The death toll in Oklahoma is now up to 274 as two more Oklahomans have died from the coronavirus; one occurred since Sunday while the other died on May 9.
- One Texas County male in the 50-64 age group.
- One Washington County male in the 50-64 age group.
According to health officials as of May 8, 90,721 test results were negative. Officials say that there have been 828 total hospitalizations with 177 people in the state currently hospitalized.
The number of recoveries outweighed the number of new cases for Monday as 37 more Oklahomans have recovered from COVID-19; bringing the state’s recovery total to 3,241.
