The Oklahoma State Department of Health is reporting 1,878 new positive COVID-19 cases for Friday, Nov. 6. Oklahoma’s seen 131,751 COVID-19 cases overall as 17,095 cases are active.
An additional 16 virus-related deaths were reported for Friday to put Oklahoma’s death toll to 1,429. One of those deaths being a Kay County resident.
Kay County is reporting 21 new COVID-19 cases to put the overall numbers to 1,015 cases, 17 deaths and 844 recoveries.
For new cases in local counties, there are 64 for Payne, 36 for Garfield, 18 for Washington, nine for Noble, eight for Osage, six for Pawnee, five for Logan and four for Grant.

Grant County – 130 cases/2 deaths/99 recoveries
OSDH is also reporting 1,532 new recoveries for Friday to put Oklahoma’s recovery total to 113,227. In order for a recovery to count, the recovered patient must not be deceased or hospitalized and it has been 14 days since their report.
