The Oklahoma State Department of Health is reporting 1,837 new COVID-19 cases for Monday, putting Oklahoma’s overall total of cases to 356,816. There are 39,586 COVID-19 cases that are active.
Seven additional virus-related deaths were documented by OSDH on Monday to put Oklahoma’s death toll to 2,994. Two were a man and a woman in Oklahoma County that were both in the 50-64 age group. Others include a Tulsa County woman, a Creek County man, a Grady County man, a Pottawatomie County woman and a Seminole County man that were all in the 65 or older age group.
Kay County saw an increase with 25 new COVID-19 cases, putting the county at 4,260 cases, 48 deaths and 3,685 recoveries. Data for Kay County communities is posted below:

As for new COVID-19 cases on Monday in local counties, there are 34 for Washington, 28 for Payne, 21 for Osage, 17 each for Garfield and Logan, 10 for Noble, nine for Pawnee and one for Grant. Data for local counties is posted below:

OSDH is also reporting 2,353 recoveries on Monday, putting Oklahoma’s recovery total to 314,236. In order for a recovery to count, the recovered patient must not be deceased or hospitalized and it has been 14 days since their report.
Friday’s report shows there have been 197,820 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine administered in Oklahoma and that there are 28,409 completed series. The number of prime doses given is 169,411. There have also been 267,400 prime doses allocated and 42,900 boost doses allocated.
Health officials report that as of Friday, there have been 2,589,408 total negative test results, 19,616 hospitalizations and 1,847 people currently hospitalized due to COVID-19. There are 470 patients in ICU.
