The Oklahoma State Department of Health is reporting 1,702 new positive COVID-19 cases for Tuesday, Nov. 10. Oklahoma’s seen 140,157 COVID-19 cases overall as 20,632 cases are active.
Seven additional virus-related deaths were reported for Tuesday, bringing Oklahoma’s death toll to 1,451. One of the deaths reported was for a Logan County male in the 50-64 age group.
There are 20 new COVID-19 cases for Kay County, putting the numbers to 1,132 COVID-19 cases, 18 deaths and 894 recoveries. As for the active cases in Kay County, there are 122 for Ponca City, 40 for Blackwell, 32 for Newkirk, 21 for Tonkawa, four for Kaw City and one for Braman. It’s uncertain as to how many of the given individuals with COVID-19 are currently in their communities or elsewhere. For complete COVID-19 data for communities across Oklahoma, click here.
As for new cases in local counties, there are 36 for Garfield, 24 for Osage, 22 for Payne, 13 for Washington, eight for Logan, six for Noble, three for Pawnee and two for Grant.

OSDH is also reporting 1,192 new recoveries for Tuesday, putting Oklahoma’s recovery total to 118,074. In order for a recovery to count, the recovered patient must not be deceased or hospitalized and it has been 14 days since their report.
Latest information from health officials shows that 1,593,041 test results in Oklahoma have returned negative. There have been 9,682 total hospitalizations as 1,102 patients are currently hospitalized. The high number of hospitalized COVID-19 patients has led hospitals across the state to have very little or no ICU beds available. There are currently 62 ICU beds available statewide (click here)
