1,551 new COVID-19 cases for Oklahoma on Tuesday

The Oklahoma State Department of Health is reporting 1,551 new positive COVID-19 cases for Tuesday, Nov. 17. Oklahoma’s seen 158,408 COVID-19 cases overall as 28,807 cases are active.

Six virus-related deaths were reported to bring Oklahoma’s death toll to 1,544. None of the deaths were in local counties.

Kay County saw an increase with 18 new COVID-19 cases, putting the county’s stats to 1,307 COVID-19 cases, 20 deaths and 1,009 recoveries. As for the 278 active cases within Kay County, there are 173 for Ponca City, 43 for Blackwell, 35 for Newkirk, 33 for Tonkawa, four for Kaw City and one for Braman. For new cases in local counties, there are 41 for Garfield, 19 for Washington, 11 for Payne, nine each for Osage and Pawnee, six for Logan and four for Grant. Click here to see complete COVID-19 details for all 77 Oklahoma counties.

Payne County – 3,581 cases/17 deaths/3,036 recoveries

Garfield County – 3,109 cases/33 deaths/2,580 recoveries

Osage County – 1,705 cases/18 deaths/1,466 recoveries

Washington County – 1,685 cases/43 deaths/1,440 recoveries

Kay County – 1,307 cases/20 deaths/1,009 recoveries

Logan County – 1,128 cases/3 deaths/937 recoveries

Pawnee County – 462 cases/5 deaths/365 recoveries

Noble County – 337 cases/3 deaths/246 recoveries

Grant County – 174 cases/3 deaths/133 recoveries

 

OSDH is also reporting 1,895 new recoveries for Tuesday, putting Oklahoma’s recovery total to 128,057. In order for a recovery to count, the recovered patient must not be deceased or hospitalized and it has been 14 days since their report.

Latest information from health officials as of Tuesday shows that 1,692,611 test results in Oklahoma have returned negative. There have been 10,481 total hospitalizations and 1,381 individuals were currently hospitalized as of Tuesday.
