A fatality collision occurred at 5:54 p.m. Thursday on U.S. 64, 4-and-a-half miles to the southeast of Westport in Pawnee County.
Brittney Brocks, 30, from Wichita, Ks. was driving a 2007 Dodge Durango eastbound on U.S. 64 in the outside lane. A 13-year-old male pedestrian from Cleveland, Ok crossed the roadway from the south to the north side and was struck by Brocks’ vehicle. Brocks and the six children with her, ages 10, 8, 7, 5, 4 and 3, were not injured. The older three children are from Wichita, Ks., while the younger three are from Tahlequah, Ok.
The pedestrian however was transported by Mercy EMS to OSU Tulsa. Pronounced dead at OSU Tulsa Hospital.
