1,010 new COVID-19 cases for Oklahoma on Tuesday

The Oklahoma State Department of Health is reporting 1,010 new positive COVID-19 cases for Tuesday, Oct. 27. Oklahoma’s seen an overall total of 118,409 COVID-19 cases as 15,480 cases are active.

Twenty-two new virus-related deaths were reported for Tuesday to put Oklahoma’s death toll to 1,273. Among those was a Garfield County male in the 65 or older group.

Kay County saw 17 new COVID-19 cases to put the total to 883 cases, 16 deaths and 767 recoveries.

For new cases in local counties, there are 28 for Garfield, 12 each for Logan and Washington, seven each for Osage and Payne, five for Pawnee, four for Noble and two for Grant.

Garfield County – 2,443 cases/28 deaths/2,077 recoveries

Osage County – 1,384 cases/13 deaths/1,268 recoveries

Washington County – 1,328 cases/41 deaths/1,158 recoveries

Kay County – 866 cases/16 deaths/767 recoveries

Logan County – 861 cases/2 deaths/710 recoveries

Pawnee County – 336 cases/5 deaths/293 recoveries

Noble County – 179 cases/3 deaths/160 recoveries

Grant County – 101 cases/1 death/74 recoveries

 

OSDH is also reporting 1,299 new recoveries to put Oklahoma’s recovery total to 101,656. In order for a recovery to count, the recovered patient must not be deceased or hospitalized and it has been 14 days since their report.

Officials report that as of Tuesday, there have been 1,446,067 total negative specimen, 8,540 total hospitalizations and 907 patients are currently hospitalized.
