Ponca City officially steps into the Holiday Season this Friday with plenty of activities downtown. At 6:30, you’re invited to come out for the lighting of the City’s Christmas tree at City Hall, and then it’s opening night for the new “Ice On The Plaza” synthetic ice-skating rink at Veteran’s Plaza. Ice skating, cookies by Batter Than Good, hot cocoa, and Christmas carols are all a part of the festivities.
On Saturday, 1047 The Bull and WBBZ will be broadcasting live from Homeland Foods on North 14th with the first Santa House stop of the season. Look for Santa from 10 ‘til noon, and while you’re there join us as we collect food items for The Mission, and try your luck at Turkey Bowling with a shot at some cool prizes. You can drop off food donations at both Homeland locations.
