PCFD responds to fire Tuesday night on South Elm

Ponca City firefighters responded to a report of a structure fire at 8:43 p.m. Tuesday at 320 S. Elm.

According to Kay News Cow, Fire chief Butch Herring said heavy smoke was showing when firefighters arrived.

“Crews contained the fire to a bedroom by fire suppression,” said Herring.

Herring said crews were on scene until 10:12 p.m. and that no one was injured.

The exact cause is under investigation.
