Five years in a row, Newsweek, one of the nation’s leading magazines, has ranked Stillwater Medical among the World’s Best Hospitals, achieving special recognition as the No. 1 hospital in Oklahoma for patient experience in 2025.

Stillwater Medical has received the World’s Best Hospital designation since 2021 and achieved its highest ranking yet in 2025 as No. 221 in the nation. While six Oklahoma hospitals have been recognized as World’s Best, Stillwater Medical received the highest rank in the state for patient experience.
Newsweek and Statista partner to analyze performance of hospitals to determine rankings. The ranking, according to Newsweek, is based on an extensive evaluation process, including an online survey of thousands of medical experts, patient experience data, hospital quality metrics and a Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) Implementation Survey. PROMs are defined as standardized, validated questionnaires completed by patients to measure their perception of their functional well-being and quality of life.
