NERA Food and Resource Center at 112 S. 1st Street in Ponca City needs volunteers.
The food pantry flooded Sunday night, but hundreds of families still need food this week. They are calling on the community to help.
They need 8 volunteers per hour this Thursday & Friday (9 AM – 3 PM) to pack food boxes. Any time you can spare will make a meaningful difference.
Needed are:
*Volunteers comfortable with some basic math to help with sorting and packing
*A few strong individuals for heavy lifters (up to 50 lbs.)
Families needing food can pick up food on Friday from 10am to 3pm at overhead door on Central Ave.
