ORLANDO, OK – State Representative and U.S. Marine Corps veteran John Pfeiffer has officially announced his campaign for Oklahoma Labor Commissioner, vowing to bring conservative leadership, workforce development, and a pro-business mindset to the department.

Pfeiffer, a fifth-generation Oklahoman, lifelong rancher, and proven conservative, has represented District 38 in the Oklahoma House of Representatives since 2014. Now, he’s setting his sights on statewide office to protect jobs, cut job-killing red tape, and push back against federal overreach hurting Oklahoma’s economy.

“I’ve fought for Oklahoma values in the State House, and now I’m ready to fight for our workers and businesses as Labor Commissioner,” Pfeiffer said. “We need less bureaucracy, more opportunity, and someone who won’t back down from liberal labor policies that threaten our economy and way of life.”

During his time in the legislature, Pfeiffer has built a reputation as a strong voice for small businesses, farmers, and working families. He has consistently fought for lower taxes, less regulation, and stronger support for local industry and agriculture. As Labor Commissioner, he pledges to continue that mission by modernizing the state’s workforce systems, eliminating unnecessary government interference, and defending the rights of both employers and workers.

Pfeiffer’s campaign platform includes strengthening workforce training, supporting small business growth, defending worker freedom, and cracking down on fraud and abuse. He also emphasizes his commitment to protecting Second Amendment rights in the workplace and ensuring Oklahoma—not Washington—sets the rules for its own workforce.

A decorated Marine who served in the United States Marine Corps, Pfeiffer lives in rural Logan County with his wife, Sierra, where they raise their family and operate a working ranch. John Pfeiffer brings real-world experience, conservative principles, and a fighter’s spirit to this race.

“I’m a Marine, a rancher, and a conservative fighter. I understand the challenges our businesses face because I live them every day,” Pfeiffer added. “As Labor Commissioner, I’ll always put Oklahoma first.”
