Deadline Approaching: Real ID Required for Domestic Travel Starting May 7

Oklahomans have just 30 days left to obtain a REAL ID ahead of a major federal deadline. Starting May 7, travelers will need a REAL ID, a valid U.S. passport, or another federally approved form of identification to board domestic flights, access military bases, and enter certain federal buildings.

To help residents meet the deadline, Service Oklahoma is extending appointment hours at select locations. Appointments will be available on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m., as well as on Saturdays, giving more flexibility for those with busy weekday schedules.

To obtain a REAL ID, applicants must bring:

  1. Their original birth certificate
  2. Two forms of Oklahoma residency
