Midwest City Police Department have identified 30 year old Brandon Morrissette as the suspected shooter on the Rose State College Campus on Monday.
KFOR reports that the 20 year old male victim and Morrissette’s wife were walking out of the Humanities building together when they were confronted by Morrissette and the victim was shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Morrissette surrendered to law enforcement officers and is currently being held on First Degree Murder charges.
Update 4:37 PM: KFOR TV is reporting that one person has died and the shooter has been taken into custody. Shooter and victim, both males, knew each other. No identities have been released. The campus lockdown has now ended.

Rose State College in Midwest City, Oklahoma, was on lockdown Monday due to an “active shooter” investigation, according to authorities.
Police responded to the scene and took the shooter into custody, as per a tweet by the college at 12:50 PM. The school urged people to follow law enforcement’s instructions and shelter in place. There’s no word yet on any casualties.
The Midwest City Police Department said they’re investigating the incident but haven’t released any further details.
The school, located in an Oklahoma City suburb, has an enrollment of around 13,000 students.
