Currently, 7 degrees with north winds at 32 mph, gusting to 47 mph, and a wind chill of 20 below.

Light snow, whipped by those winds, are creating visibility problems in spots…and some glazing on windshields and roads as well.  There are some very slick spots to deal with.

A Wind Chill Warning Remains in Effect until noon on Friday.

Wind chills as low as 40 below zero. For the Winter Weather Advisory, snow and blowing snow with visibility reduced to less than a half mile at times. Snow accumulation generally between 1 and 3 inches.

Plan on slippery road conditions. Blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions will ikely affect the morning commute. The dangerously cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.

Currently 5 in Newkirk,

6 Degrees in Blackwell and Tonkawa

8 in Perry
