Local Students Make it to Round Two of Oklahoma All-State Choirs

Eighteen students from West Middle School, East Middle School, and Po-Hi auditioned for the Oklahoma All-State Choirs on Saturday, October 28th in Enid, Oklahoma. Seven of those students scored high enough to move on to the second round of auditions that will take place in November.

Thousands of Oklahoma students audition for All-State choirs each year. Students must pass two rounds of auditions to be accepted into one of the choirs. Once selected, students spend three days rehearsing and performing with internationally recognized choir directors.

Students making the second round are:

Laura Belt – Senior

Kayleona Brown – Senior

Julian Estrada – Senior

Riley Ladner – Senior

Sydney Meeker – Sophomore

Taylee Slavin – Junior

Jaelyn Stolhand – 8th Grade
