PRATT, Kansas — The Northern Oklahoma College Mavs picked up two softball wins Sunday in the Pratt Festival beating Frank Phillips (TX) 8-0 and Pratt (KS) 11-2.
NOC is now 8-4 on the year and has won three straight games.
In Game 1, Lynsey Ailey tossed a two-hit shutout while Meagan Bellar and Megan Hart homered powering the Mavs’ offense.
Ailey fanned 10 in earning the win while walking none.
The Mavs outhit Frank Phillips 8-0, Bellar drove home five runs as the Mavs plated four runs in the first and third innings.
Ailey added two hits while Hart had two runs batted in.
In Game 2, The Mavs scored eight runs in the first three innings and cruised to an 11-2 win over Pratt.
Maggie Landers led the Mavs’ attack with three hits while Jasmine Warriner had two hits including a home run and three runs batted in. Karsyn Coleman had a triple and four runs batted in. Ailey added two hits.
Molly Myers was the starter in the circle allowing two runs on three hits in five innings.
