The 3rd ranked NOC Mavs swept Northwestern JV in a double dip Thursday in Tonkawa.
NOC (9-3) won 6-1 in Game 1 and then completed the sweep with an 8-4 win in Game 2.
In Game 1, NOC pitchers Blake Hubbard, Jackson Robinson, Zach Stephenson, Brysen Williams and Carter Hines allowed just one run on one hit striking out 11.
Barrett Rose had two hits including a double. A four run second was the difference for the Mavs in the 6-1 win.
In Game 2, Bryant Bailey had four hits and four runs batted in for the Mavs.
Holden Batrosovsky had two hits including a double.
Jacob Ellis, Chase DeFillippo, David Carr, Malik Wilson, and Kirby Lohrengal all worked on the mound for the Mavs.
NOC travels to Kansas Wesleyan Sunday and then hosts Pratt (KS) on Monday.
