Library offers programs for all ages in August

Aug. 19 there will be a webinar on “Immunization Awareness” in the Library Board Room at 10 a.m. This will be presented by the Oklahoma Healthy Aging Initiative. The webinar will discuss ways to be alert when receiving vaccinations. (Pre-registration is required by calling the reference desk or coming to the library and registering)

Aug. 20 there will be a “Brick Builders” session in the Library Program Room from 1 to 2 p.m. This is a fun activity for kids to exercise their minds and build with toys!

Aug. 24 and 31 there will be a fun story time and craft held downstairs in our program room from 11 a.m. to noon.

Aug. 24 there will be an interactive program on “Healthy Brain, Healthy Mind” in the Library Program Room from 1 to 3 p.m. This will be presented by the Oklahoma Healthy Aging Initiative. The presenter will discuss ways to help individuals understand the many ways to maintain a healthy brain. (Pre-registration is required by calling (580) 767-0345 and asking for the reference desk, registering at the library, or going to [email protected] )

Aug. 30 there will be a gardening class in the Library Program Room from 6 to 7 p.m. This class will be limited to 30 participants and is a pre-registration class. Please call the library at (580) 767-0345 to register at the reference desk, register by coming into the library, or go to [email protected] to register. (All supplies will be provided.)

All programs are free and will take place at the Ponca City Library,515 E. Grand Ave.
