Employees of River Ridge Construction check a section of the War Memorial Park walking trail.

The company is replacing the final phase of the trail in the park. The work included removing the worn asphalt surface and replacing it with concrete. This section is along Fifth Street and will connect to the first part that was replaced along Highland in previous years.

Reconstruction of this phase started after Labor Day. A total of 1,324 linear feet of the trail is being replaced at a cost of $104,017.75, according to the contract with the City of Ponca City. The project is expected to be completed in 30 days.
