KPNC celebrating 40 years with community fundraiser

Team Radio Marketing Group - May 31, 2019 3:07 pm

On Wednesday, June 5, 101 Country KPNC Radio will officially turn 40 years old.

“Our four-decade commitment to serving this community continues to be something we make important,” said Team Radio owner Bill Coleman. “Right now, many of our friends and neighbors are directly affected by floodwaters at levels we’ve never experienced. I’m asking you and yours to join us at our Poncan Theatre studios on Wednesday, June 5, any time from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. as we celebrate our 40th anniversary by raising money for flood victims.

“We’re asking for $40 donations from individuals — or you can pitch in with your friends and coworkers to make your $40 donation. Join us for a slice of anniversary cake while it lasts — and let’s raise some money for those affected by this historic flooding.

“We’re teaming with the Red Cross and all funds raised will be earmarked for Oklahoma flood relief,” Coleman said. “I can’t think of a better way to spend our 40th anniversary day than to do it while giving back to this area that’s supported us all these years.

“Thank you for the opportunity to be your locally owned and operated, community-minded radio station — and we hope you’ll drop by our studios on Wednesday to help us celebrate and help support an important cause.”
