Keep pets safe during holiday celebration

As you prepare for your Fourth of July Celebration, don’t forget about pet safety.

“Dogs are afraid of fireworks” says Animal Control Supervisor Steve Minor. “Please take precautions to secure your pets on the Fourth, even if you aren’t in an area where fireworks are normally set off.

“Scared pets run from the loud noises”, he added.
