Kay County Democrats meeting Thursday, Sept. 19

The Kay County Democratic Party will be having a meeting on Thursday, Sept. 19, 2019, at Pioneer Tech in the West Seminar Room. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m.

The Superintendent of the Ponca City Public Schools, Shelley Arrott, will be the guest speaker. Arrott will speak  about the increased funding from the state Legislature and how that has affected Ponca Schools. She will also address the continued concerns for future funding needs and relationships with the state Legislature. Arrott will give an update on the work that was done over the summer to improve school buildings in the district.
