Kay County at 56.2% in Census Responses

Kay County remains in the top 10 counties in Oklahoma responding to the 2020 Census. As of May 4th, Kay County is less than one percent away from achieving the next level of response rate at 57%. The 2020 Census happens every 10 years and counts every person in the United States, one time where they live on April 1st.

You can fill out your 2020 Census form online at www.my2020census.gov. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the 2020 Census by calling 1-844-330-2020. Census takers will be heading out into the community starting in July and collecting information on non-responding households through August, 2020.

Accurate household counts assist planning and programs for the next ten years and allocate funding from your tax dollars for education, roads, streets, parks and grants. Every person in the state of Oklahoma is valued at $1675.00 a year for the next ten years. Please fill out your 2020 Census form for your community. For your future. You Count for Kay County!
